Want some sailing experience?

Our friend, Richard of Bellingham, flew the long flight from Seattle to Tahiti in November of 2009.  Then he took another flight to Raivave, one of the southern islands in French Polynesia.  There he went aboard Abrazo as Captain Baila's crew for the adventure of crossing the Southern Ocean to Chile.  Here you see him relaxing on the bridge deck while the wind vane steers the boat, and that fine Roaring Forties breeze fills the sails.  This was a very good day.

"Like the wind is playing the strings of an instrument ..."  one sailor's description of the possibilities.

As of today, January 5, 2016, Captain Baila is renewing the varnish on Abrazo's cabin rails.  He showed the boat, today, to a young couple who are visiting on nearby Isla Tenglo ... probably not serious buyers.  Our Puerto Varas friend, Cristina, reminded us last night that she would love to be invited out for a sail.  Now that summer seems to be here ... maybe she'll get her wish.

Meanwhile, Happy New Year to all.  Let this be the year you go ahead and sign your name to the contract that will link you to your dream.
